This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Lekkerbos is an ideal destination to get away from the rush. The tranquil cottage in the mountains near Haenertsburg is the perfect get-away setting to take a break and bond. Lekkerbos is only accessible by 4x4, all-wheel-drive or vehicle with a diff-lock. The cottage's large living area with open plan kitchen and 180-degree view over the mountains makes it ideal for spending quality time. Lekkerbos is close to outdoor activities, galleries, breweries and beautiful sceneries to get recharged.

The space
There are 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed with a basin. The second bedroom has a trio-bunkbed (double bed below and a single on top). The open space living area, linked to the kitchen has a breakfast/nook, dining area, lounge with a fireplace and 2 single beds. The wooden deck overlooks the Wolkberg mountains, an extension of the Drakensberg mountains.

Guest access
The whole house and surrounding areas are available to guests.

Other things to note
In summer times, bees are very active in the area. They may come into the house in search for food or water. Guests that are allergic to bee-sting, should bring anti-allergy medication. Vervet monkeys are roaming the area. They are not dangerous and are not spoiled. No feeding is allowed. Please keep windows closed when leaving the house.
Lekkerbos is blessed with misty mornings, frequent drizzles and light rain. This influences the dirt roads, making it slippery. We take care of our roads, but occasionally have unexpected muddy-slips with our 4x4. Guests are encouraged to drive slow and take care when its wet.
