Set on a quiet cul-de-sac in a lush garden setting, the Pod is a perfect blend of privacy and convenience — minutes from the Waterfront, beaches, and the best restaurants in town.
The space
The open-plan interior is stylish and light-filled, outfitted with luxurious linens, a quality double bed, and a fully equipped kitchenette. Fast WiFi and a dedicated workspace mean it works equally well for a romantic getaway or a working retreat. Outside, the large deck with its full lounge set is where you’ll want to spend most of your time.
The property runs fully off-grid — solar panels and rainwater tanks mean no loadshedding interruptions and no water worries.
Guest access
You have exclusive use of the cottage and its private courtyard. Secure parking is right at your door. Free laundry (washing machine, dryer, iron & board, detergent and softener) is available in a separate on-site room — a rare bonus for longer stays.
Other things to note
The Pod sits within a larger garden property — you may occasionally notice our presence or routine maintenance.
We also have cats who may come to say hello; please send them on their way if you’d prefer, and kindly don’t feed them.

We currently live and work in Cape Town South Africa, in the hospitality industry. My wife and I love exploring whenever the opportunity arrises. We recently cycled across the US over a three month period, West to East Coast, and loved every moment! Especially our Airbnb stays. Meeting people and sharing travel stories definitely the highlight of our travel experiences. We love animals, cats in particular, and the only downside of not staying home, is missing our adorable cat!
