Serene Retreat in Shelley Point Estate

Unwind in this elegant, self-catering escape nestled in the peaceful Shelley Point Golf Estate — the ideal base from which to explore the West Coast Peninsula. The unit offers two king en-suite bedrooms, with two private balconies each and a heat-and-eat kitchenette.

Enjoy complete privacy with a separate entrance and exclusive use of the first floor. With solar power and backup water, your comfort is always assured.

Regrettably, no children.

The space
There is a separate entrance used by your hosts, so your privacy is always respected – although help is never too far away if needed.

The main entrance and entire 1st floor are reserved for your exclusive use for the duration of your stay.


The rooms offer the following:


o En-Suite bathroom with walk-in shower and dressing area.

o King size beds - Cotton Percale bed linen.

o Soap, hand cream, vanity kit, loofah, scented candle, shampoo, shower gel, bath sheets, hand towels and facecloths.

o Vanity and hair dryer.

o Large flat screen TV - Netflix

o Overhead fan

o Block-out roller blinds for a peaceful dark room and wispy curtains for daytime light and privacy.

o West balcony to view spectacular sunsets while sipping your drink,

o East Balcony with a four-seater picnic table and small Weber braai leading onto deck which then leads onto the garden.

o Glimpses of the ocean.

o Kitchenette, shared between the two guest rooms with sink, worktop, microwave, bar-fridge, kettle, toaster, air-fryer, ice maker, coffee plunger, crockery, cutlery and utensils. In one of the drawers is a Nespresso machine.

The Shelley Point Golf Course is 350m from On the Ridge - a 5 minute walk sway

This layout is ideal for 2 couples wishing to break away from the hustle and bustle of the city to spend time exploring the wonders of the West Coast.

Kayak beach, or as the locals call it, Little Greece, is a 5 minute walk from the property.

Guest access
The entrance, first floor rooms - accessed by a staircase, balconies, decks and garden are exclusively for guest use. The second floor is occupied by the owners and has a separate entrance.

Other things to note
We have solar power, so no blackouts and we have a water tank to ensure there are no water outages.

We live in a very safe, gated neighbourhood. The Shelley Point Golf Course, a choice of 3 surrounding beach areas are on the Estate and and the closest is a 5 minute walk from the house. Various nature trails are available to walk/run. Feel free to explore.
