Sandpiper’s Nest, Hout Bay – A warm and private, self-contained one-bedroom apartment offering self-catering convenience, separate entrance, secluded garden, and breath-taking mountain views. Relax in your own tranquil space and set your own pace while holidaying in the charming fishing village of Hout Bay.

Only a few minutes from pristine beaches, the World of Birds, the lively Hout Bay harbour, vibrant markets, and popular restaurants. Ideal for couples, solo travellers, and business guests.

The space
This generously sized apartment is beautifully styled in warm African sunset tones and located in a peaceful residential cul-de-sac on the slopes of the Karbonkelberg Nature Reserve. It boasts magnificent mountain views of the Constantiaberg range and Chapman’s Peak. A relaxed walk or short drive takes you to the heart of Hout Bay, with its lively working harbour, beach, shops, restaurants, and popular local attractions.

The lounge is comfortably furnished and includes games and a selection of books for your enjoyment, as well as free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

The kitchenette is well equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities, crockery and cutlery, a toaster, microwave, air-fryer, small fridge, and an induction hot plate.

The spacious bedroom features a queen-size bed (standard SA size 152 cm x 188 cm), built-in cupboards, a safe, and blackout curtains for a restful night’s sleep.

The bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and basin.

Please note that the apartment/flatlet occupies an entire floor and is attached to our home.

Our motto... live, love, laugh! Beautiful Hout Bay has been our home for almost 30 years. Growing up in Jo’burg, living in the Cape has taught us to enjoy quality of life and appreciate our beautiful surroundings. We and our two amazing daughters, thoroughly enjoy travelling, experiencing different cultures, tasting different foods and meeting new people. But, we always love to come back to our home to Hout Bay :)
