Sugarbird is a bird’s paradise, situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, mere minutes from the Knysna Estuary and the Central Business District. Surrounded by trees and with stunning views towards the Knysna Heads, Sugarbird is a cut above the rest. Spacious and light filled, large outdoor deck with your own dinning & BBQ area, with private and secure parking on the premises.

Note: we are off-grid, both water and electricity - and therefore not affected by load-shedding or municipal issues - in general!

The space
Main bedroom with ensuite bathroom and large, light filled open plan kitchen and living room, leading out onto a large deck with expansive views of Knysna lagoon. Main bedroom has two single beds, mosquito net, fan and built-in closets. Living room has a dinning table, sofa and reclining chair, TV and large windows facing the garden in the back and estuary to the front. Kitchen has a two-plate gas burner stove top,

Nespresso coffee, toaster and microwave, kettle and filter coffee plunger. Outside area has a 6-person picnic table on a hardwood deck, overlooking the estuary. String lights to light up your evenings.

Guest access
Park below the property within a gated, secure parking area. Steps lead up to the apartment. The staircase is fitted with a light switch accessible both from the bottom step and the top step, ensuring light at night.

Other things to note
Stairs leading up to the cottage can be a challenge under certain conditions. In which case you're welcome to use the 2nd entrance gate and drive up to the front door. This driveway is steep, including a sharp narrow bend and we therefore only recommend using it if the stairs is a bit daunting.
