The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. Our house is idyllically located directly on the lake with a fantastic view of Switzerland to the Säntis and the Zeppelin city "Friedrichshafen". We have been successful and happy hosts for 8 years, and we have been able to welcome lots of great people who would have liked to book our whole house.
