Recently converted cottage with panoramic views

A detached stone cottage in the heart of the north Pennines. Stunning views. With fantastic footpaths, cycle routes straight from the door for those with plenty of energy as it is hilly. Great base for exploring the area. With pubs and coop 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk. Recently renovated to a high standard but still feels characterful and cosy. Underfloor heating, induction hob and super insulated. 2 well behaved dogs only are allowed for a small fee. Sorry no other pets allowed.

Set on two floors, the ground floor has an excellent, bright, spacious living room with the original cast iron range and a magnificent kitchen with an American sized fridge, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The lower floor has 3 bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room and a unique glazed wall, which provides views into the drive room , which features cog wheels and pulleys. A pub opposite with their own micro brewery and home cooked food (now only open Thursday to Sunday). There are plenty of footpaths and cycle trails meandering through the beautiful Durham Dales and North Pennines. Within easy reach of the Lake District and Northumberland (Hadrians Wall). Pets are welcome, maximum of 2 dogs.
