The covered front porch with a view of the river. Parking for one vehicle is included. There is a set of stairs to reach the entry. Staff are available between 11am and 5pm in the boutique to answer questions and provide assistance. Wakefield is a vibrant village on the shores of the Gatineau River with an active art and music scene. It is home to the Blacksheep Inn, Canada's famous music venue. Wilderness is on the doorstep with trails leading into Gatineau Park. It is possible to walk to the local grocery store, Wakefield General Store, a 10 minute walk. There is a small convenience store 3 doors away. The local bus stops at the Centre Wakefield La Pêche, around the corner.
