Gorgeous cabin sitting in the middle of woods with a large entertaining deck that makes you feel like are " away from it all" even though you are 3 mins away from SIU! Features 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths with an open floor plan with plenty of room for family and friends! Enjoy the large deck to grill or to just enjoy a glass of wine from one of our local wineries. Large master suite with jacuzzi tub to unwind. Make use of the concrete party pad with firepit, bar and bags Location is perfect!

Enjoy our cozy 2 bedroom home, the sofa bed lets larger families enjoy their stay too. For 6 adults it may be a bit tight but we have had 7 guests in the past. A well equipped kitchen has the laundry. Fully stocked fridge for breakfast. There’s a covered patio and carport. House is in a quiet residential area only a short drive to restaurants, antique & specialty shops. Beautiful hiking trails, lakes, orchards, SIU Campus, ShawneeWine Trail, Microbreweries & many other sights await your visit.

Relax in this gorgeous country setting minutes from SIU and eateries, close to hiking, and wine trails. Stroll around the property and catch glimpses of deer, maybe even a fox or coyote. The area is best described as peaceful and convenient. Spacious master suite on main floor has king size bed. Upstairs is a cozy converted loft with one private room with full size bed and one open loft bedroom with two twin beds. We even have a poured concrete walk-in tornado shelter off master suite.

Welcome! We are new to Airbnb but not to a sister site where we have a couple hundred 5star reviews. We have had our home as a rental for almost 5 years now! It has two bedrooms with one queen and two twin beds. A loft and a futon! A full kitchen. One bathroom with a tub/shower combo. You’ll find yourself relaxing on our large deck that spans the rear of the house. Sit in the hot tub overlooking the fenced-in yard and the woodlands below. Private wooded setting! Dogs welcome with fee.

We are 7 minutes to Giant City, 17 minutes to Alto or Von Jakob wineries, 10 minutes to Flamm orchard peach cobbler. This rural neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Our second listing for Hilltop Retreat, this two-level home provides the space and seclusion a group of 12 could use to get away from the hustle of everyday life. Located next to the Shawnee National Forest, and right at the beginning of the Shawnee Wine Trail, this home has alot to offer. Take in the scenery of the private pond on the upper porch deck, or enjoy a fire in the evenings around the large firepit. Plenty of games are provided in the game/movie theater room as well!

Rated in “Top 1%” by Airbnb, the Pool House is a separate cottage surrounded by gardens and swimming pool, with retro "Danish Modern" furniture, a gourmet kitchen and plush beds. We have recently added a Finnish Sauna and Japanese Ofuro Soaking Tub. We accept well behaved dogs for a fee of $35 a night. We allow only guests and friends of the Pool House on the grounds, gardens or pool. Hosts are Jane, anthropologist and D. a retired photojournalist for the New York Times.

The highly revered Bald Knob 'mountain' is directly across the valley in front of The Bitty Houses and boasts the most gorgeous sunsets in the region.
