This property is located right off of Highway 84 West. It is about ten minutes from the Monroeville Square and Courthouse. It is ten minutes from our local Walmart and some good eating places and the Pulp Mill located at 2373 Lena Landegger Hwy.

Take it easy as you are enjoying the river life in our adorable little house that is located right on The Alabama River! Bring your boat for fishing, tubing, & river swimming! Boat launch is right down the road! Monroeville is about 20-25 minutes away. Camden is about 35-40 minutes away. Easy driving distance to area mills in Claiborne & Pine Hill. (Alabama R. Cellulose & Intl. Paper) great for corporate or shutdown guests. Great for staying and relaxing during fishing tournaments!

The Gem is located in the historic part of town just a block away from where Harper Lee and Truman Capote grew up. In fact, when this house was built Harper Lee was just 14 years old and attended Monroe County High School located 3 blocks North west of here. This house is a lovely three bedroom which sleeps eight people.
