Regional and S-Bahn (suburban train) is a 10-minute walk away. (9 min drive to Potsdamer Platz), bus in 3 min. The cottage is situated in the small town Buckow, the pearl in the nature park "Märkische Schweiz", just 50 KM east of Berlin. One of the prettiest places in Germany. The cottage is behind the pink main building (see photo). The property is right at the lake Buckow. Next to the lake is a sauna, exclusively for guests of the cottage. The lake and the sauna are 100 m away from the cottage on the other side of the garden. Within the week the cottage is less expensive to rent.

The train station with connections to the train and buses can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot.

Former artist's house near Berlin: Our house with a large garden,was preserved in the early 30s (URL HIDDEN) almost in its original state and exudes a bright and warm atmosphere through the use of ecological building materials and colors. The furnishings are basic and personal. A few minutes' walk from the house is our lake with 2 very nice swimming spots. The Spreewald Biosphere Reserve,the Schlaubetal and Berlin are about 1 hour away.
