Lenore's Room - Mooreland Garden Inn

The Mooreland Garden Inn is steps away from Dickinson College, Penn State Dickinson Law, the Central PA Youth Ballet, and Historic Carlisle. It is the perfect place to stay when taking a school tour or visiting for an event. We are a short drive to the US Army War College, and Carlisle Events Car Shows. The 100 year old manor home has been elegantly updated to accommodate our guests. Each room has a private bath, Comphy Sheets, and soft Turkish Towels and bathrobes. WIFI, Cable TV, Snacks, Beverages and Breakfast included.

Originally the bedroom of the Ewing twins, whose family arrived in Carlisle in 1849, was papered with the present rose design in the 1930's. The wide plank yellow pine floorboards and the original pocket-shutters are small parts of the history that remains.
