Ashes Cottage is a beautiful, bright, 17th century farm cottage with picture postcard views from every window. It is cosy, warm and full of modern amenities such as underfloor heating and a log burning stove. From the front door there are footpaths to Staveley village with its selection of pubs, cafes and shops. Only 15 minutes drive to Lake Windermere - it's a fantastic base to explore The Lake District. Afternoons on the patio watching the sheep are highly recommended!

Cobblers Cottage mixes modern chic and old world character in a quiet location but close to all that Windermere and the Lake District has to offer. Great for romantic or activity getaways. Situated alongside our home in the Lake District National Park, we have a 4 berth static caravan. The caravan itself is modern, clean and well equipped. The location is an excellent base for the South Lakes (Kendal/Windermere), Ideally with your own transport as we are located in the countryside although it is on a regular bus route. No pets.
