Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

Outside there is a large, luxurious, hot tub (added surcharge) and seating area overlooking fields, securely fenced for most dogs. There are fields and lots of outdoor spaces, areas of grass to walk, sit and relax or for children and adults to play and interact with the animals all around the cottage

Dry Dock Cottage

Relaxing is easy in Dry Dock Cottage: there’s a cinema snug, roll-top bath and king-size bed. The high-tech gadgetry means that, at the touch of a screen, you can control the heating, close the blinds, dim the lights and play your favourite music. With spectacular views from all four levels, this open-plan former dry dock sits at the very water’s edge. Open the bi-fold glass doors from the lounge area, to get even closer to the ducks and the boats that pass by. Pets are welcome, too.

Our Airbnb is a colourful, cosy and creative private space attached to our mid century bungalow. It has its own entrance, kitchenette, double bedroom and en-suite shower room. We are in a quiet yet convenient location for the beaches, coast path, Oystermouth Castle, shops, restaurants & bars in the village of Mumbles. There is private parking directly outside the house and we are within a 10 min walk of Mumbles village in one direction and the beaches in the other direction.
